Wellbeing Cards

This set of cards contains the three key wellbeing determinants (i.e. autonomy, compassion, and relatedness)  and a set of spheres of experience (adoption, interface, task, behaviour, life, society) through which to consider support for wellbeing within digital experience. The cards contain quick definitions, tech examples and pointers to the research-base.

They can be used at workshops to upskill teams in wellbeing psychology concepts, during ideation to spark creative thinking around wellbeing-supportive innovations, or during prototyping to support the consideration of wellbeing effects as criteria for refinement--when selecting among possible design concepts, tagging each with potential good and bad effects on wellbeing can help add criteria to the decision-making process, as well as point out areas for redesign.
